Mike Huckabee Attacks Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman has found herself in the center of the Republican party's war on women this week, following comments by former presidential candidate and Fox News talking head, Mike Huckabee.
Huckabee called Portman's pregnancy "troubling" and accuses the actress of "glorifying and glamorizing the idea of out-of-wedlock children." Right, I'm sure when Natalie Portman found out she was pregnant, her first thought was, "I can't wait to glorify and glamorize the sh!t out of this!" Huckabee adds, "People see a Natalie Portman who boasts, 'We're not married, but we're having these children and they're doing just fine.'...It's unfortunate."
Because, ya know, how could a 29 year-old millionaire who's engaged to her baby's daddy possibly hope to raise a kid without a ring on her finger? Remember this in 2 years when he runs for president again: Mike Huckabee is a friggin' moron. You don't attack a pregnant chick that everyone loves the same week that she won an Oscar. If dude wanted to make an issue out of unwed mothers, all he had to do was blast Teen Mom and everyone would have been with him.

I'm not a fan of Huckabee, but I agree with him that it's sad that premarital sex and pregnancy are considered normal and fine now. I believe it's wrong and I'm 21. Anyway, he could have worded it better, but that's what happens on live radio. Also, the only reason he used Portman as an example is 'cause she's all over right now. He probably feels the same way about Bristol Palin and Teen Mom.
