Adam Lambert Tells Fans "Please Don't Touch My Face"
But what about your ass?!
Adam Lambert sent many tweets on Monday to let his fans know that he would like some space. He also asked his psycho fans not to touch his handsome face. Remember Glamberts, Adam paints his makeup on, there really should be no face touching going on!
Adam posted the following Tweets to Glamberts. Note: Adam's fans could easily rival the craziest Justin Bieber fans. They are that die hard.
- Fans: little strange when you walk up to say hi and you have a video cam on and ur trying to hide it. Who are u- paps? #imapersonnotathing
- Or just taking a flash shot when I'm not lookin. Hah. C'mon it's so tacky tourist. Have common courtesy and just ask. #idontbite
- #unlessthatswhatyoureinto
- But thank you to all the sweet, polite folks who are cool about it. I love meeting you guys out and about and it's a plus when you "get it"
- Oh and also- please don't touch my face. #boundaries
- My new mission is to keep it as real as possible at all times. No more pageant-style p.c. smile and wave, smoke blowin, fake BS. #Realness
- I find myself biting my tongue in order to not rock the boat all too often.
- When in reality- I'm human and just trying to do my best. Day by day. Just like you :) love you Glamily.
It sounds like someone got all up in Adam's grill and one of our favorite performers let it all out on Twitter. I'm with him 100% here. It's really important to not act like celebs are Gods or your personal best friends whenever you meet them cause they find it to be overwhelming and disappointing. Hopefully Adam's fans will respect his #boundaries.

@queen,
I didn't look at it that way because I don't walk around touching people's faces, but you are absolutely right! Makeup has nothing to do with it, it's a respect issue based upon simple common courtesy.
It just sucks even more when fans are messing w/ your makeup. It must be frustrating for Adam, clearly.

Love the article ACCEPT for the part about the makeup. Whether one has makeup on or not, people in general don't like to be unexpectedly touched anywhere by strangers but ESPECIALLY on the face!! I love that Lambert is so open and honest with his fans. Some mistake that for "anything goes" and cross boundaries. Fortunately, Adam let them know it.All they really needed to do was ASK his permission for a few photos. He likely would have granted it. Thanks! :D

ADAM IS SO GENEROUS TO HIS FANS, AND KEEPS US IN TOUCH WITH WHAT HE'S DOING, AND WHAT HE'S THINKING. OTHER CELEBRTIES DON'T DO THAT. FOR ANYONE TO CAUSE HIM UPSET, ESPECIALLY A SUPPOSED "FAN" IS TERRIBLE. STALKING IS SICK !! AND, IT'S A CRIME. I HOPE ADAM'S SECURITY WAKE UP. VIP BRACELETS WERE STOLEN FOR THIS EPISODE.

Its too bad celebs have to even say things like this, but its been this way for year and years and its not likely to stop. He said this in response to a specific situation of so called "fans" stalking him then literally chasing him around with a cell video hidden then they posted it on line so proud of the footage they got of him ducking them......glad he called them out
