Casey Abrams Eliminated from 'American Idol'

Judges' favorite Casey Abrams was voted off of American Idol last night, and while the decision was not quite a shocking as the ousting of Pia Toscano, it was still a surprising results show, that left the competition wide open for the remaining five contestants.

Casey was already eliminated once by viewers, but was saved by the judges, so it should come as no surprise that he was booted a second time. Still, the 20 year-old Illinois native was considered by many to be one of this season's strongest singers and was a strong favorite to win it all after Pia's departure. "This is what talent looks like," Ryan Seacrest said as Casey received a standing ovation from the judges. It was one of the most flattering send-offs in Idol history, but Casey would've probably preferred to stick around and croon another week.
