Kirstie Alley Takes a Fall on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Kirstie Alley has something to prove on Dancing With the Stars this season. The actress, who has publicly struggled with her weight in recent years, is trying to show the world that fat girls can move with the best of them. Unfortunately, last night she pretty much proved the haters right.

Kirstie hit the floor with a thud when her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy dropped her like a hot rock during their routine. The really sad part is, it wasn't even Kirstie's fault. "It never happened before...I guess it was like a charlie horse. It gave up and out," Chmerkovskiy said, blaming his own bum leg for the embarrassing fall. I won't bother to point out that the reason it "never happened before" might be that he never had a partner who singlehandedly keeps the Twinkie corporation in business before. 

Kirstie and Maksim recovered gracefully and actually received favorable comments from the judges despite the fall. Only time will tell if Maksim's legs will be able to stand up to another week of Kirstie's girth.
