Demi Lovato Bikini Photo: Sign of Confidence, or Cry for Attention?
Demi Lovato has had some serious issues in the past few months, but she wants us all to know she's now happy and healthy. And what better way to show people you're OK than by posting half-naked twitpics?
Demi shared the above pic, with the following tweet, "I've been working so hard to get healthy and fit...I can't believe I'm about to do this but I'm so excited...Here's my bikini time body! I never thought I'd feel confident enough to ever do that. I'm excited how far I've some since being completely ashamed of my body...I want any girl/guy out there who struggles with body image or confidence to know that it IS possible to find peace with yourself."
Well, there's no denying that she looks great (She's 18 now, right? OK, good.), but posting bikini pics of yourself doesn't necessarily mean you're over your body issues. Isn't the goal to get over equating your appearance with your self-worth? Saying to the world, "Look at me, I'm in shape now!" seems like the opposite of that. I know, she seems to be doing better and we should all be happy for her, but something about that recovery seems a little too quick and easy for it to be legit.
SHOULD DEMI LOVATO POST BIKINI PICS ON TWITTER?

She looks healthy and strong and fit, but I absolutely agree with you. This "recovery" is too easy! I'm "recovering" from some of the same issues and have been for half a year! I support her advocating self confidence and body peace, etc, etc, but I mean, is she really one to preach? I'm not convinced. Shouldn't she be laying low for a while?

Many people on Twitter may actually leave Twitter comments calling Demi "fat" after seeing this photo, even though she's just super buff.
Demi's been "working so hard to get fit and healthy" and she wants validation. Hopefully she has received the positive response she was hoping for, but the Internet is one of the worst places to go to for universal approval.
This is definitely a cry for attention from a fragile girl with serious issues.

Is this girl on steroids? Look at the size of those legs, they look like tree trunks. I wouldn't be tweeting that photo to anyone.
