Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Are Hooking Up

This is either a publicity stunt or a really cute couple waiting to happen. The Amazing Spider Man co-stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are reportedly dating--or doing something of a more-than-just-friends nature--after meeting on set.

According to Us Weekly, “They haven’t gone public, but he’s told his friends. They got close during filming and have been hooking up.”

Andrew, the British actor most famous for his role in The Social Network, broke up with longtime girlfriend Shannon Woodward in May, but it looks like he’s moving on. Since the two reportedly split up because filming Spider Man was such a time suck, an Emma-Andrew relationship seems like a viable solution to that girlfriend separation problem.

While I don’t know if I fully buy that they’re heading towards a legitimate relationship just as their movie’s coming out next year (which would fully reek of movie promo set-up), I’ll buy a casual hook-up type thing. Hey, I wouldn’t blame either party for wanting to dabble in the other--just makes their friendship even more beneficial!

Either way, you can’t not approve when two people who seem so lovely and adorable and cool want to join forces, regardless of the circumstances.
