The Bachelorette Recap: Ashley's Still In Love With Bentley

You'll have to excuse me for missing the first 15 minutes of tonight's episode, but lets be honest, nothing major ever happens in the beginning. With my luck, something probably did happen early on and I don't have a clue about it. Oh well... Moving on!

Ben F. enjoyed his date with Ashley, but it's kind of awkward. Since they can't lock lips, they close their eyes and pretend to kiss. Wow, that was hot and cheesy, but they're gonna make up for it later.

Ashley was ready to pounce on him, so she's thanking the Bachelorette gods their date is extending into the evening. Other things might extend at night too. Heh. With candles and flowers surrounding them during their private dinner, it made the night that much more romantic... But then it gets depressing. Ben talks about losing his dad 4 years ago. Since then, it has been hard to open his heart up, but he has finally come to terms in the past year that his father's passing is part of life, and he says he's ready to find love. During their evening, Ben sells himself as the perfect man telling Ashley he wants a woman he can spoil, take care of, blah blah blah. It's everything she wants to hear, and they finally share a hot kiss with fire breathers in the background. Yeah, it's that hot!

The producers have come up with another fantastic idea for a group date... Fighting! Ashley and the boys step into a boxing ring to fight each other. Ames has never been in a fight in his life, but he's wiling to take a shin to the face for Ashley. He looks so ridiculous during training and he probably couldn't knock over a daisy if its stem was broke.

After a couple hours of rigorous training, they still have no clue what they're doing, it's time for them to beat the crap out of each other in front of spectators and Ashley. The first two up to spar are Blake and Lucas, After a few jabs in the face and falling on their @sses trying to land roundhouse kicks, Blake is the big winner.

J.P. steps in the ring with Mickey and takes a serious beating. J.P. got beat like a rag doll but made a major comeback and put the holy smack down on Mickey. Next up is Ames and Ryan and poor Ames has no damn clue what he's doing. He just wants to put his arms in front of him to keep Ryan away, but that wasn't keeping Ryan from landing some hard punches to Ame's head. He's a lover, not a fighter, although he practically got knocked the hell out. I didn't think anything was wrong, he looked as goofy as he normally does, but he was taken away in an ambulance.

It turns out Ames is okay, just a little shaken up with a mild concussion, but it bought him some private time with Ashley. During her alone moment with Lucas, she got a quick golf lesson (and practically a boner in her butt), but he also asked what type of man she's into because she sure seems to like douchelords like Bentley. Ashley says she's still trying to figure out what she's looking for in a guy and what she feels for everyone. She admits she may initially be attracted to a man like Bentley, but she knows her initial extinct might not be right. Gee, ya think?  At the end of the evening with her group of men, Ashley snatched up Blake and honored him with the group date rose and some tongue action. Get 'em girl!

William and Ben C. won the two on one date with Ashley and it's making Willie uncomfortable. He's looking at it as the Thunderdome date - two men enter, one man leaves. During their date in the jungle, William proves that he can be the biggest d*ck in the room. He tells Ashley Ben doesn't really want to be there and plans on hooking up with chicks on dating sites once The Bachelorette ends. Ashley took William's word seriously and booted Ben off the show. The other guys are shocked to see Ben's luggage taken out of the house instead of William's, but the night didn't work out in his favor. During dinner that night Ashley realized the spark they had their first date was totally gone and it was time for him to leave too. Welcome back to Ohio slick Willie!

During her cocktail party with the rest of the guys she tells them to be open and truthful with her. While all of the men have alone time with Ashley, they're all selling themselves like a $9.99 Slap Chop. It has to be weird having all of these guys really throwing themselves at her when they may have been a little more reserved before. One guy who stood out of the bunch was J.P., who admitted it hurt to see Ben Flajnik leave for his individual date with Ashley. What's this? A guy showing his feelings? I'm shocked. Ashley really likes J.P. but is afraid she's going to get hurt again like she did with Bentley. Will we ever stop hearing about this jackhole? Nope, not yet, because she still has him on the brain.

Bentley Wiliams The Bachelorette

Here we are with another sit-down chat with Chris Harrison about you know who. She talks about how Bentley is on her mind so much and she knows it's not fair to anybody when she has Bentley in the back of her head. Ashley thinks seeing Bentley and talking to him would help her move on. She's still stuck on the "dot dot dot" bullsh!t Bentley fed her so they will work out a way for her to see him again.

Let's not forget she still needs to figure out who she's eliminating tonight. At the beginning of the rose ceremony Ashely says she sees how important honesty is, and promises to be honest with them, something she hasn't been doing since she's still hanging on to Bentley's jock strap. The unlucky man to get sent home was Nick. In his final interview, he expressed how sad he was and claims he was falling in love with Ashley. She might have just eliminated the perfect husband, in his eyes.

Next week they're off to Hong Kong and Bentley is there. They embrace when they see each other and Ashley is later seen telling the other guys that Bentley is currently in Hong Kong, which of course infuriates the guys that she's giving him another chance and she has been thinking about him the entire time. Oh yeah, it's game time next week!
