The Kardashians have a young fan base, which is why their behavior on their hit show is especially troubling.
On a recent Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode, Kris Jenner says that she wants to change her last name to Kardashian for business purposes. When daughter Khloe Kardashian finds out, she confronts Kris about it, telling her mom that she’s a “groupie cock sucker” and that she “can’t just be a cock sucker” for her biological father Robert Kardashian and then become “a cock sucker for [Bruce Jenner]” before ditching his name now that his Olympic fame has dried out.
WHO tells their mother that she’s a groupie cock sucker?! And who has the nerve to say such a thing while in the presence of a third party, let alone a camera crew?!
Khloe should have told the show’s writers that she’s uncomfortable speaking to her mom that way.
In another episode, Kris encourages Kourtney Kardashian to marry Scott Disick, while in front of Scott and sister Kim, Kourtney tells her mom to “Shut the f*ck up!” Scott chimes in and tells Kourt “You didn’t have to tell your mom to STFU,” but it’s already too late. Kourtney embarrassed her mother in front of those around and she thought it was completely okay to do so because her mom shouldn’t be “getting in [her] business.”
Can’t Kourtney and Khloe speak to their mother with some semblance of respect?! The last thing a feisty 13 year-old girl needs to see is a daughter telling her mom she’s a peen sucker. What’s worse is that Kris doesn’t even call her daughters out on their bad behavior.
The Kardashians have a long running history of using their fans, mostly for money and fame, but it’d be nice if they used their show to highlight the best of their family, not just whatever will get people to tune in each episode.
