Teen Mom Recap: Maci Moves Home, Amber Meets With Child Protective Services

Maci Bookout is traveling between Chattanooga and Nashville for school and to live with Kyle but she’s leaning toward moving back to Nashville. She in her sophomore year of college and her grades suck. Juggling everything is taking a toll on her education, and graduating is important. Maci’s dad’s upset about her bad grades and her shacking up with Kyle.

She decides to move back home, but it’s not so easy for Kyle. He has a good job and doesn’t want to leave until he has another decent job to take its place. Maci found a fabulous apartment and moved in with a little sadness that Kyle wasn’t moving with her, but he has a secret… He’s moving in with her! Yay Ky!

Catelynn and Tyler Hug

Catelynn Lowell‘s relationship with her mom is pretty lame and her entire family needs counseling.

Tyler’s dad is willing to do it, but it’s not going to be so easy to convince Catelynn’s mom April. April avoids the situation, but she needs to quit avoiding the mirror. Whatever she’s doing, is turning her into the skeleton dude from “Tales from the Crypt.” I’m just sayin’. Catelynn called her mom and had a heart to heart about repairing their relationship, but her mom doesn’t see any problems.

April did actually go to counseling with Catelynn and there might have been a little bit of a breakthrough since April actually had to STFU and listen for a minute.

Happy Sophia

Farrah Abraham‘s still dealing with Derek’s mom Stormy wanting visitation with Sophia.

Chances of Stormy getting any rights look slim. Farrah is still connecting with Derek’s dad and step-mom and they’re willing to help out any way they can for the sake of Sophia. It’s cool she’s bonding so much with at least part of Derek’s family. Stormy is putting up a fight, and Farrah has a hearing with her about visitation rights. On the way to court, Farrah’s mom tries to hold light conversation about Sophia playing on the Barney website, but Farrah flipped!

“That’s why you suck at being my mom. You don’t know how to calm me down!” I get it, Farrah’s stressed, but she needs to stop bashing her parents like she does. The catty brat is still there, she just hides it better on camera. Anyway, the judge dismissed the case, and Stormy loses in the end. Time for a happy dance!

Amber Portwood Bad Eyebrows

The time has come for Amber Portwood to face child protective services.

The time has also come for me to point out Amber’s atrocious eyebrows. Girl, let some of that sh!t grow in! Amber’s living in her old apartment with her pal Kim. The two obviously take makeup tips from each other.

Amber has to meet with Child Protective Services at the police department and she’s scared to death. Nothing happened yet, they just had some questions, but she will start getting visits from CPS. Gary’s mom spoke with him about her meeting and told him it’s best if he gives Amber space right now instead of on-and-off dating. It’s not good for Leah, who is the most important person in this situation.
