Jay-Z and Kanye West: 'Otis' Video Is Here!

Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaborative album, Watch the Throne, just went straight to number one in nearly two dozen countries and has been receiving rave reviews across the board. So how do you celebrate if you're Jay and Ye? By busting out the circular saws and tearing apart a Maybach that costs more than your average fan makes in a decade! Duh!

Jay-Z and Kanye West Otis Video

"Otis," the debut single off the long-awaited album is an absurdly catchy tribute to late R & B great Otis Redding. The video, directed by indie icon Spike Jonze and featuring a cameo from comedian Aziz Ansari is a stripped-down, old-school joint that features the two modern legends mugging for the camera and whipping a Frankenstein Benz with a backseat full of groupies. It's an appropriately celebratory clip for a couple of guys whose dominance of the rap game is pretty much undisputed at this point.

Most of the album (which is effing incredible, BTW) is darker and more bad-@ss in tone, and the next video will probably involve lots of tailored suits and menacing glares, so it's good to see Kanye and "big brother" Jigga wildin' out and having fun for a change. Hell, Jay even cracks a smile at one point. It's a rare sight, usually seen only by Beyonce when the monthly bank statement arrives.
