Russell Armstrong Said He Would "Never Survive" Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Russell Armstrong's mother, John Ann Hotchkiss, gave a revealing interview with HLN yesterday, in which she revealed details about her chilling final conversation with her son.
Distraught over his financial difficulties and allegations of abuse against his ex-wife, Taylor Armstrong, Russell was apparently deeply concerned about how he would be portrayed in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. "Mom, they're just going to crucify me this season. I don't know what I'll do...I'll never survive it."
Armstrong's lawyer, Ronald Richards, also believes that RHOBH played a role in Russell's distressed mental state in the days leading up to his suicide. “These couples join these shows, and then they keep trying to outdo each other and they end up spending all their money trying to sustain a lifestyle that’s unrealistic," Richards told ABC. "The weekly social events, the dinners and all the BS, trying to pretend you have unlimited resources in Beverly Hills is tough."
We'll never know just how his involvement with RHOBH may have contributed to his stress or how he would have been portrayed on the show this coming season, but thankfully, producers say they already have a plan in place to deal with Russell's death tastefully and say they will not air any part of his funeral.

I didn't know that Russell was so fragile. It's a shame that he couldn't stick around for his daughter. I wonder when the last time he saw her was? I wonder if he would have offed himself if his daughter was with him at the time he decided to check out?
Russell did a good job of hiding his stress to everyone. R.I.P.
