Jenelle Evans is trying to turn her life around and she wants you to know it. The Teen Mom star’s life has been a hot mess of drug possession charges and probation violations, but this time she really means it. Yep.

While Jenelle may not have custody of her two-year-old son Jace, according to her attorney, she’s been making a real effort to be a better mom to her son and a better person in general. She visits Jace every day, and is currently enrolled in parenting classes and anger management classes.

“She’s being responsible right now. There has not been one judged order for her to do that–the parenting classes. She [enrolled] all on her own.”

I almost feel like she should have crossed this bridge a long time ago. I wish MTV would make these girls learn basic parenting shiz before they pop their babies out…but then MTV wouldn’t have a very good show. Sigh.

“Jenelle is getting drug tested once a week, four times the usual amount. She has not tested positive in about 2.5 months. She’s doing extremely well and she’s in school.”

2.5 months. Um, snaps for Jenelle? I want to offer congratulations, but her problems aren’t going to be fixed that quickly. She’s got a long road ahead of her.
