Suri Cruise is enrolled at the New Village Leadership Academy in Calabasas. The 5-year-old will have “individualized reading” where she has to look up words in the dictionary if she doesn’t know them. She will also use the “real object” whenever possible for hands-on learning.

Children at Suri’s school use iPads and individual laptops versus using a computer room, and her school day will be longer so that she’ll have less homework.

Kids at New Village chart their progress with a graphing system. A mother and blogger reported that although many folks have freaked out about Suri’s school, it actually isn’t that weird. Additionally, many people send their kids to religious-based schools “because it’s the best educational option, even if the core religion sucks,” according to the blogger.

I say, the least of Suri’s problems is what school she attends. She’s justifiably frightened by the stalkerazzi, she’s a hooker in training, and she has to go home to Katie Holmes, a mother who believes that Suri is her peer, dragging the 5 year-old around town all night like she’s her BFF. The kid’s gonna have some issues!
