After several months of dating, Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have reportedly gone their separate ways. Their reps confirmed the split to Us Weekly, and sources close to the couple say Leo was the one who initiated the breakup. In other shocking news, water is wet and birds can fly.

According to Us “the pair ‘remain friends’” and did not cite a specific reason for the split, but since their busy shooting schedules have kept them on opposite sides of the world for weeks at a time, it seems distance and work may have come between the two.

Leo’s a born player, but things seemed to be different with Blake, and friends even predicted an engagement in the near future. Fortunately, it seems both Blake and Leo are having little difficulty moving on with their lives. She’s been spotted having dinner with Green Lantern co-star Ryan Reynolds, while he’s headed for Australia to shoot The Great Gatsby, and probably spend a lot time going down under with the locals.

These two are too promiscuous and attractive to be tied down. Cheers to single sluttiness!
