Johnny Depp: Drunk Fall Caught on Tape

Johnny Depp usually does a pretty good job of avoiding the press, but recently he's been traveling the world to promote his new film The Rum Diary, and dude obviously did a lot of research for the role.

That's Johnny leaving a Hollywood bar and promptly falling on his @ss. One of his handlers picks him up and basically carries him to the car where he makes a weird "F you" gesture to the paparazzi. Johnny's never been shy about his love of the sauce, and his drinking has become part of his bohemian charm, but there's a difference between knocking a few back now and then and  falling down in the street on a Monday night.

Johnny's 48 and he's been in the industry for nearly 30 years. You'd think he'd have enough experience with booze and the press, that if he were gonna get that hammered, he'd at least know how to hide it from the paps. This video has led some to speculate that Johnny might be battling an alcohol abuse problem, and that he may have been drunk when he made his controversial comparison between photo shoots and rape. I say the man is just committed to his craft. You can't make a career out of playing pirates and Hunter S. Thompson without occasionally getting wasted.
