Kim Kardashian Marriage Arranged by E! Network?

You may sit wanna sit down for this shocking news: Kim Kardashian may have married Kris Humphries just to boost ratings for her reality show! Ok, so there's nothing surprising about that. However, there is something strange about a new report saying that E! - the network that cashes in on all things Kardashian - actually set Kim and Kris up, just so that they might eventually air the ratings bonanza wedding special.

An anonymous source is making the rounds claiming that both E! and Kim were in search of a pro athlete in the NYC area who would be willing to date her to help liven up the first season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York. A-Rod and Jeter were both attached at the time, and Kim had already worked her way through half of the NFL, so the producers set their sights on the world of basketball.

Eventually, Kris and Kim were (allegedly) introduced at a meeting arranged by the network, but the best part of this (alleged) story says that the happy kouple nearly had some kompetition. The source claims that E! and Kim first set their sights on former New York Knicks forward Danilo Gallinari. Eight years younger than Kim, Danilo reportedly agreed to meet with her, but declined to date her or have any part in her weird famewhore empire of @ss. Bet he's kicking himself now! (Sarcasm.)
