The season finale of Real Housewives of New Jersey airs next Sunday, but these days, the real drama is taking place behind the scenes. News has already surfaced that Teresa Giudice has finally fully alienated herself from the rest of the ladies, and we recently received word that at least two of the Housewives would not be returning for a fifth season. Yesterday, Bravo decided to make an attempt at putting the rumor mill to rest by issuing a statement about the future of RHONJ.

“Bravo is not firing anyone from The Real Housewives of New Jersey," said a network spokesman. "This is completely inaccurate information from sources who are unreliable and making up rumors. All five cast members will be featured on season 4. No decisions have been made about season 5 at this time.”

In other news, Bravo thinks we're all a bunch of idiots. That statement was issued in the interest of putting the rumors to rest, but it gives us no new information at all. They say no one got fired, but they don't tell us if anyone quit, and they admit that they have no idea who will be returning for season five.

Personally, I think a reality show about the behind-the-scenes drama at Bravo would be far more entertaining than anything the network currently has on the air. Bravo stars are all self-important morons, but you know HBIC Andy Cohen runs sh!t backstage like a gay white Oprah.
