Michelle Obama has joined her husband Barack by joining the micro-blogging social network site, Twitter. Michelle joined Twitter yesterday, but she already has over 245,000 followers!

The second tweet explained why the message above ends with “‘-mo”:

• This account will be managed by campaign staff, with any tweets from the First Lady herself signed “-mo.”
