Chris Brown and Rihanna split three years ago in what may be the ugliest celeb breakup since OJ and Nicole. Since then, the two have somehow managed to remain friends, engaging in PDA exchanges on Twitter and attending one another’s concerts, so it’s not much of a surprise to hear that the two singers have been secretly hooking up for over a year. We’re just holding out hope that the rumor’s not true.
Us Weekly reports that a friend of Chris’ claims, “They can’t get enough of each other. I don’t see it ending well. Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that.” Naturally, Chris’ reps deny the rumors, claiming the two are “just friends.”
Sadly, I find this rumor to be totally plausible. As horrible as Chris’ assault on Rihanna was, it was three years ago; she seems to have moved on from it, and she clearly still has feelings for the guy. Rihanna and Chris are both young and prone to stupid mistakes; let’s just hope for both their sakes, they know enough to keep their distance from one another.
