Adele‘s “21″ album continues to dominate the charts. As of Feb. 29, Adele’s album sold 730,000 copies in the U.S. the week of Feb. 19, up by 270 percent. Adele’s albums sales were the biggest sales week for any album since Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter IV” debuted at No.1 with 964,000 on Sept. 17, 2011.

The first time a non-debut album had sold so many copies was 2007 with Josh Groban’s “Noel” Christmas album, Billboard reports.
“21″ has topped Billboard’s Top 200 chart for 21 weeks, making it the longest-running No. 1 album in the SoundScan era, surpassing “The Bodyguard” soundtrack. Adele’s second album also makes her the only woman in history to surpass Ms. Whitney’ Houston’s “Bodyguard” album.
Ya gotta love it! Adele proves that people don’t have an issue with purchasing music, they only have an issue with purchasing sh!tty music. She’s saving the record industry.
