A few weeks ago, the blogosphere was abuzz with news that Alex Roldan, a former hairstylist of Kris Jenner’s, was Khloe Kardashian‘s biological father. Yesterday, the entire Internet freaked out when Kylie Jenner posted a Twitpic that seemed to confirm the rumor.

Kylie tweeted the above shot of Alex and Khlow with the caption, “First official photo of my sister and her dad! Like father like daughter!” Because there was nothing in the picture or caption to indicate that she was kidding, gossip bloggers (and fans of Khloe) assumed that their dreams had come true, and they finally had confirmation that the only Kardashian with a personality was, in fact, not a real Kardashian.

About an hour later, Kylie realized the confusion she’d caused and tweeted, “It was a joke everyone!” but it was too late; the damage had been done. Now, everyone wants to know why Khloe was hanging out one-on-one with the dude who’s rumored to be her real dad. My guess is the Kardashians have decided to exploit the Khloe paternity controversy the same way they exploit everything else and Khloe met with Alex to film a special “Who Is Khloe’s Father?” episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in which it’s revealed at the end that she’s, like, totally a real Kardashian, after all.
