New Girl's Zooey Deschanel covers UK magazine Company, and she talks about her fashion sense. Zooey is known for being a cute hipster who sings, acts, and wears cute clothes, like her lookalike Katy Perry would wear.

Zooey makes it sound like she doesn't put that much effort into what she puts on.

"I'm not Lady Gaga – I don't push the envelope that much. I probably do more than most actresses, as I have my folk rock band, She & Him."

She explains that people in music have more creative freedom when it comes to fashion. "People in the music world are allowed to go a little crazier; actresses usually stay so safe. I'm not afraid to wear something weirder, even if people don't like it."

A small part of me has always wanted to be a singer so that I could wear whatever the hell I wanted and it would still be considered cool. When you see people in concert wearing some ugly sh!t, while still being worshiped, it can't help but make you a lil jealous.
