Well, she’s known for her over-the-top personality and extravagant ways, but judging from the picture on the left, Lady Gaga is enjoying a pretty tame (and lame) birthday celebration.

“This is how it feels turning 26 in three and a half hours,” the Mother Monster tweeted last night. I’m not sure what some mangled cake and a Chanel purse have to do with turning 26, but it seems Gaga is none too thrilled about entering the second half of her twenties.

Of course, she was probably at least half joking. After all, Gaga has accomplished more than most space aliens twice her age. So let’s all celebrate the day she first hatched from her bedazzled egg with the sole purpose of showing us earthlings what fabulous looks like on Mars. Happy birthday, Gaga.
