Adam Levine has gone mainstream. He began his band Kara’s Flowers as a young teenager and a few decades later he’s on The Voice, he’s been cast on FX’s show American Horror Story, he has a men’s fragrance in the works, and his band had their biggest hit to date with “Moves Like Jagger.”
Levine covers the new issue of Paper magazine to talk about his “unquenchable thirst to be the center of attention,” what’s up with the girl he wrote Songs About Jane about, and why he wants to “study marriage.”
If you thought Adam would be interested in flattering himself or hiding his flaws, he isn’t. “I can be a huge pain in the ass, huge pain in the ass. That’s part of who I am and there’s not a person I know who doesn’t think I’m a pain in the ass. But I’m also really nice and a completely affable and socially adept person. There’s a difference between being an asshole and a pain in the ass…”
On Jane, the girl he wrote songs from Songs About Jane about: “It was a brief relationship, but we really did fall in love with each other and when we broke up, my heart was broken. I didn’t have money or a job. All I had was a girl I was in love with and the dream of being a famous musician. I was like, ‘I need to turn this into something good or it’s going to be a bad thing.’”
On marriage: “I’m extremely fascinated by marriage. I want to study marriage. I want to learn about it. I want to know it. I want to figure out whether or not I want to do it. I’m not just going to leap into it, because that’s not good for anybody.”
On the upcoming Maroon 5 album, Overexposed: “This was more of a song-by-song basis. It was kind of a cool collage on this record. I’m really happy with it. It just feels like it doesn’t give a shit and I love that.”

Kristen Stewart has landed the new cover of Elle UK magazine and based upon some excerpts from her feature, Elle’s writer is just like Charlize Theron: They’re both KStew fans. Kristen explained that she really enjoys acting, only she included some expletives when she explained.
“I f***ing love everything about [acting]. I love movies, I love what they do. I am just so fueled by it like nothing else in my life.”
Kristen also gave a brilliant answer about whether or not she feels a weight on her shoulders about being a role model.”I don’t apply it to the choices I make,’ she says. ‘I feel like a role model is not necessarily somebody you want to imitate, just someone you admire.”
I’ve never heard any celebrity explain that so perfectly! She continued: “I look at characters I play sometimes and think, “F***, I would like to be like that.’.. It makes sense to me why other people don’t just look at that person, they look at me. Anyone who happens to choose to look up to me, it’s like, “But I’m literally you. I’m looking up to the characters you’re admiring me for choosing”.
Kristen on her b!tchy public persona:
“I don’t say I’m not magnetic to try and sound self-deprecating, I’m just not. I’m pretty good at…’ Repelling people? ‘Yeah. Though actually I love people. I would like to meet more people. I know no one.”
I get that. Shy people tend to come across like jerks just because they’re not very friendly because they’re uncomfortable. Kristen is extremely shy, but I do think that she’s coming into her own!

Brandi Glanville is one of the best things to happen to reality television, so it’s no surprise that Bravo execs would want to add the outspoken single mother of two to its roster of Beverly Hills Housewives. According to a source, “Producers love Brandi. She’s gorgeous, she’s funny, outspoken and outrageous, she makes for great TV.” Didn’t we just say that?
Brandi has officially been offered a full time role on Bravo’s hit show. She will also be included in the promotional cast photos and she’ll have her own introductory segment at the beginning of the credits!
“She’s been really popular on the show and producers decided it was definitely worth giving her more air time.”

Bethenny Frankel has penned her very first fiction book and she’s receiving rave reviews for it. Being the savvy business woman that she is, Bethenny named her first book “Skinnydipping,” which obviously reminds fans of her Skinny Girl line. It’s cross promotion for Kindles!
The Hollywood Reporter explains why Bethenny’s book is so good: “Skinnydipping is a totally fun, dishy read, especially for fans of reality TV. ” The book is actually loosely based on Bethenny’s real life adventures. “Clearly, Frankel has drawn inspiration from her own life to construct the plot of the novel and half the fun is trying to figure which characters and events might be drawn from her real life and which are entirely made up.”
Bethenny’s talk show begins in a few months and ratings for Bethenny Ever After have been climbing each week, thanks to feuds with her husband Jason Hoppy. Expect her new bio-pic, starring Lea Michele or Mila Kunis, to actually materialize into a legitimate Lifetime movie or something.

Apparently there’s an entire new genre of chick lit and it’s called “mommy porn.” Fifty Shades of Grey, a book about an inexperienced female college student and her wealthy boyfriend getting into bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism, is a hit! The novel is reportedly very graphic and females, both mothers and non-mothers alike, have been eating it up.
The book has sold 2 million copies to date and the Kindle version is selling even better.
Laura Hoffamn, a mother of two says “It’s completely crack-like in its addictive properties,” while Kelly Hoglund, 31, doesn’t mind that the author is an inexperienced writer.
“I feel that she’s honestly portraying how women feel and react in emotional or sexually charged situations, as well as during sexual intercourse itself. Because of that I find it’s easy to overlook any simplistic writing.”
So whether women feel like they didn’t have enough S&M before they got hitched or whether they resent “the finality and lack of bedroom adventure that sometimes comes along with long-term relationships,” author E.L. James has found a niche!
Now I think I’m ready for some ‘Daddy porn.’

Jennifer Lawrence is taking her beauty international. The rising star covers Gioia magazine. In the feature, there’s a photo of Jen and her boyfriend that she’s not in love with, a screen shot of her as Katniss in The Hunger Games, and not much else.
Jen may be blonde, but she has such a memorable face. Her features are so unique and exotic, I’m always wondering WTF her ethnic background is. So anyway, here are two new photos of one of the most down to earth A-list role models for young girls that we’ve seen in a long time! Enjoy.

Emily Maynard is the new Bachelorette. Although Emily’s season doesn’t debut until May 14, we already have some spoilers for you. Emily, 25, is paired up with 25 to 35 year old Caucasian men because African-Americans are not cast on the popular series. She won Brad Womack’s season of the franchise, and like most finalists on this over the top, must-propose-in-haste show, her romance fizzled out.
Out of the 25 candidates, the final four are allegedly Jef Holm, 27 – CEO of People Water, Sean Lowe, 28 – Fitness model/ insurance agent, Chris Bukowski, 25 – Sales Manager at Sears Centre Arena and Arie Luyendyk, 30 – Former Indy Race Car driver.
While spoilers for the finale/ proposal episode have been wrong over the past few seasons, the final four seems to remain accurate!

Melissa Gorga of The Real Housewives of New Jersey says that her song “How Many Times” is about Joe Gorga. Joe is the midget sex addict who says that he’ll die of poison in his body if he doesn’t have sex with his wife at least once multiple times every day. Melissa lives a life of luxury, because she married up, like all of the Housewives do before their homes are foreclosed upon.
She’s also the mother of three children and she’s singing about how Joe has always been there for her or something in her new single. I couldn’t make it through half of this song because we’d like to know how many times she says “How many times”. Melissa’s songs are always embarrassingly bad. Jump in to hear her awful new song!
