Apparently there’s an entire new genre of chick lit and it’s called “mommy porn.” Fifty Shades of Grey, a book about an inexperienced female college student and her wealthy boyfriend getting into bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism, is a hit! The novel is reportedly very graphic and females, both mothers and non-mothers alike, have been eating it up.

The book has sold 2 million copies to date and the Kindle version is selling even better.
Laura Hoffamn, a mother of two says “It’s completely crack-like in its addictive properties,” while Kelly Hoglund, 31, doesn’t mind that the author is an inexperienced writer.
“I feel that she’s honestly portraying how women feel and react in emotional or sexually charged situations, as well as during sexual intercourse itself. Because of that I find it’s easy to overlook any simplistic writing.”
So whether women feel like they didn’t have enough S&M before they got hitched or whether they resent “the finality and lack of bedroom adventure that sometimes comes along with long-term relationships,” author E.L. James has found a niche!
Now I think I’m ready for some ‘Daddy porn.’
