Days after the Basketball Wives episode aired that shows Jennifer Williams getting slapped by Evelyn Lozada‘s assistant Nia Crooks, the reality TV star has filed a lawsuit. The incident took place on January 21.

On the last episode of Basketball Wives, Crooks asks Jennifer “Do I need to slap you in the face to wake you up?” and she replied “I wished you would.” Nia then slapped her across the left side of her face with an open hand.

Williams’ civil suit claims she suffered serious injuries in the attack … as well as “mental shock, mental anguish and psychological trauma.” Jen is suing for assault and battery and is seeking money for medical expenses and other damages.
