Rosie O’Donnell says oh hell no! Rosie appeared on the Today Show this morning, along with Star Jones and Donny Deutsch, where she was asked what she thinks about Lindsay Lohan being officially cast as Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s Liz & Dick movie. Ironically Rosie said that she feels sorry for Lindsay and then proceeded to rip her a new one!

“I feel very sorry for her. I think she needs a lot of help. She needs time away.”

Rosie said that Lindsay “was out and not at rehearsal” for SNL and that her new Liz & Dick role will be a trainwreck.

“The last thing she did good she was 16. I don’t think she’s right for the role and I don’t think she’s capable at this point of doing what’s needed,” O’Donnell says.

I don’t think Lohan should be cast as Elizabeth because she attracts all the wrong attention to the project. But unlike Rosie, I refuse to get worked up about Lindsay at this point. She was cast on a Lifetime movie for the love of gawd. Her career is done!
