Beyonce made a video in which she pointed to an unusual plant in the Croatian Island of Hvar and she said "We woke up this morning, took a nice little walk, passed by this beautiful blue tree. I think it's Blue Ivy, which would be quite appropriate!"

Beyonce named Jay-Z's mini me Blue Ivy. Ever since B posted the clip online in April, tourism to Hvar increased. The island was even named as Lonely Planet's fifth best vacation destination in 2012.

Major Pjerino Bebic wrote a letter to the Carter family saying:

"The story of the origin of the name of your daughter has brought enormous media attention and therefore tourist promotion to the town and island of Hvar. Because of this, I have decided to confer on your daughter the status of honourary citizen of the town of Hvar."

Blue Ivy is only five months old.
