Adele’s had a pretty good year. She won an armload of Grammys and recorded one of the most acclaimed and best-selling records in recent memory. But surely none of that can compare with the news that she received recently: her song “Rolling in the Deep” may have helped save the life of young girl.
Seven year-old Charlotte Neve was left comatose after a severe brain hemorrhage. She recently took a turn for the worse and doctors had suggested that her family say their final good-byes. That was when Adele helped save the day.
According to reports the song – one of Charlotte’s favorites – came on the radio and her mother began to sing it. Then the unimaginable happened and little Charlotte smiled for the first time in months. “It was the first time she had reacted to anything since the hemorrhage,” said her mother “The nurses were astounded and told me to keep singing, and she smiled again.”
