John Travolta made his first public appearance last night in LA, speaking at an event, but his scandal isn’t going anywhere. According to Radar, Joan Edwards served as an assistant on Travolta’s films from 1978 to 1994 and she claims that John and Doug Gotterba were lovers in the 1980s.

Joan allegedly said: “Doug is a wonderful guy and we are still good friends. He told me that John was gay and they had a sexual relationship. Doug said John was constantly grabbing at his genital area, but he put up with John’s sexual advances because working for him was ‘lucrative.’”

Joan says that she’s watched Doug’s home video which shows a shirtless Travolta sitting on Doug’s bed in a hotel room.
