It's been about six months since Zooey Deschanel's divorce from Ben Gibbard, and it appears she's finally ready to fall in quirky, hipster love again.

Zooey and screenwriter Jamie Linden were spotted holding hands together at the Magic Mike premiere party earlier this week. Zooey has made a point of saying that she's in no rush to return to dating in the wake of her divorce, so news of her going public (in a way) with a new dude comes as a surprise to many.

A source tells Us Weekly that Linden is "a really nice guy," adding, "He's funny, and a little geeky. . .he's into her!" Of course he's funny and a little geeky. That description could apply to literally every dude Zooey's dated onscreen. Now Jamie just needs to learn how to pose for a picture without looking like the voices in his head are telling him to burn things.
