Jessica Simpson Weight Loss Goal: 50 Pounds In 5 Months!

These days, Jessica Simpson is coping with the stress of being a first time mom, but she’s got some added pressure that most women will never have to deal with: if she doesn’t drop the baby weight fast, she could be out $4 million.

That’s the amount that Jess will reportedly receive to be a Weight Watchers spokesperson. Part of the deal, of course is that she has to actually lose weight. No one wants to take dieting tips from a circus tent.

In Touch Weekly reports that the company gave Jess a strict timeline. She has five months to reach her “target weight” of 130 pounds, or her contract is null and void. It’s a lofty goal considering Jess probably weighed more than 130 pounds before she got knocked up and is said to have gained more than 50 pounds during her pregnancy. Judging from the many paparazzi photos of Jess coming and going from the gym, she’s determined to drop the pounds, but can she do it in time?

Also, if Jess reaches her goal does that really say anything about Weight Watchers? All it proves is that celebs with endless amounts of time and money on their hands are able to get in shape, to which we say, “No sh*t!”
