Despite their 14 years together, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis never married and their split is said to be “amicable” but that doesn’t mean it won’t cost Captain Jack the wealth of a small nation.

In the interest of keeping things simple and peaceful, Depp will reportedly cut Paradis a check to the tune of $150 million. Yes, that’s an out-of-court settlement that the actor will make willingly. Who says there are no stand-up guys left in Hollywood?

Depp’s reasons for the massive pay out are simple: he harbors no ill will toward Paradis and he’d like the separation process to go smoothly for the sake of the couple’s two children. With that kind of cash, it’s safe to assume Johnny feels a little guilty about the breakup. Bring on the cheating rumors!
