Miley Cyrus just got engaged two weeks ago, but she’s already getting suspiciously close with some random dude while her fiance is in New Orleans for work.

According to the New York Daily News the dude in question is Miley’s “pal and assistant” Cheyne Thomas. Miley probably wouldn’t be stupid enough to be photographed with her side piece, so the two are more than likely just friends. Still, if I were Liam I don’t think I’d be crazy about images of my wife-to-be swimming, sipping cocktails and looking mighty comfortable with her male “friend” while I was a few hundred miles away. Just sayin’.

Miley took to Twitter to dispel any rumors, saying, “I miss my mommy and my fiance. I love my fiance and he loves me. All the rest is bullsh-t. We get to live a life of happiness no one can take that away from us!” Hopefully, for Cheyne’s sake that’s enough to put Miley’s man at ease. Liam would snap dude in half like a twig.
