When NeNe Leakes passes judgement on you, you may just need to look at your life and reevaluate your choices. The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Glee star says that she’s grown a lot since season one of RHOA and thinks that maybe the cast of Basketball Wives should also try to grow. A lot.
“It has just gone too far. Too many fights, my God!” NeNe said.
“We don’t do that. We definitely have had our verbal fights, but never physical fights. I can’t believe the fighting and bullying. It looks bad. It looks really bad.” Um, maybe that’s because it IS really bad. But that’s also why people watch it.
Ms. Leakes is also friends with no-violence-just-b!tchiness Jennifer Williams, and thinks that it’s not wise for the girls to get into fisticuffs, lest it hurt their careers. “You can’t represent a product and be that way. That just doesn’t work,” she says. What about when your product is drink-throwing and physical violence? It’s been a part of the show since forever, and anything less would just be a letdown at this point. Though NeNe does have a point—this type of drama really isn’t healthy. Maybe it should come with a warning from the Surgeon General.
