Today marks Edward Cullen’s 111th birthday (Seriously, that’s a thing, apparently.) and to mark the occasion, the producers of Breaking Dawn Part 2 are giving fans their longest look yet at the final installment of the record-shattering Twilight franchise.

This new preview gives us significantly more information than yesterday’s teaser, and it seems the tone is darker and the stakes higher than in any of the series’ previous films. The trailer starts off promisingly with a Bella voice-over filling us in on how much she loves being a vampire. Then, of course, things take a turn for the worse.

The Volturi are threatening Edward and Bella’s daughter, Renesmee and the happy vamp family is forced to rely on some unlikely allies for safety. Don’t worry, there’s an appearance by Taylor Lautner as Jacob, but sadly, ladies, he keeps his shirt on. Guess you’ll have to wait until Breaking Dawn 2 hits theaters on November 16 to get your fix of werewolf abs.
