While it’s certainly hard for the general American public to imagine Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi as a momma, imagine how hard it must be for her pops–the one who knew her and loved her when she was but a crispy little nugget–to think about her procreating.

Snooki told People that, even though it was tough telling her bestie JWOWW that she was knocked up, it was even more difficult telling her daddy Andy Polizzi about the bun in her bronze oven.

“Oh, I was scared to tell my dad, of course!” Snooki said, before explaining that now her parents are happy for the birth of their first grandchild.

There really is no turning back! Half of Jionni LaValle is in her uterus, and that’s the way it’s gonna be. This whole pregnancy has just been surreal and bizarre, I can’t even imagine the child that’s gonna come out of her. Though I’m sure that, like Snooki, he will be squishy and adorable.
