Zooey Deschanel is one of the best things to happen to Fox in years. She stars in one of the networks most popular shows in years. With an enthusiastic, youthful fanbase, it’s no surprise that “The New Girl” van is actually going on tour this summer! Zooey herself is loved by fans and critics.

Deschanel was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, she didn’t win that one, and now she’s won a Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Zooey and Amy Poehler both won the title because there was a tie, but the quirky hipster’s win brings her one step closer to picking up some other major awards.

Jess on New Girl used to be really annoying but she’s grown up a bit, or scriptwriters got it together, and she’s become more lovable and normal than annoying and naive. I look forward to seeing Zooey continue to kill it as Jess and pick up even more trophies. Whew, that was a lot of a*s kissing all in one post!
