Ok, so we were all misled a couple weeks ago when a bunch of fake nude photos of Carly Rae Jepsen made the rounds online. Now it seems there are confirmed actual nude pics of the singer floating around…sadly, police are currently attempting to prevent them from being released on the Internet.

TMZ reports that Carly’s people received a tip back in March that Carly’s phone had been hacked. The phone contained nude photos, as everyone’s apparently does these days. Police were contacted and they reportedly now have a suspect lined up. So it seems we’ve been teased once again. But hey, at least we know the pics are out there!

On a sidenote, why is every female celebrity walking around with a phone full of self-shot naked pictures? Send and delete, ladies!
