Well, her husband may not play basketball, but at least Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada is finally a wife. Evelyn and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Ochocinco got married in a Fourth of July ceremony in Florida. Naturally, VH1 cameras were on hand to capture the event.
The ceremony will be featured as part of the first (and probably final) season of the couple's new reality show Eve and Ocho. Sadly, Evelyn will not be taking on the Ochocinco last name, as Chad did when someone led him to believe that that's how you say "eighty-five" in Spanish.
Chad kept fans posted throughout the ceremony with a series of hilarious tweets. Some highlights: "How many times is Eve gonna change outfits… Is this normal to have more than 1 outfit besides the wedding gown?" "What if @EvelynLozada is a runaway bride when I get out there and I'm stuck looking good all by myself… did I mention looking good?" and "Well…she's on outfit #4 and i'm stuck in this damn tux." Maybe that reality show won't be so bad, after all. Congrats to the happy couple.
