Emily Maynard has opened up about her relationship with fiance Jef Holm and she’s leaving no doubt about it: this dude is way, way better than the last one.

“This is by far the best relationship I’ve ever been in,” Emily said in a recent interview with People. “It’s a complete 180 from last time.” It doesn’t hurt that Jef put a $100,000 ring on it during Monday’s Bachelorette season finale. But Emily’s love for her new dude goes beyond expensive bling and the fact that her previous fiance was the world’s biggest douche-hole.

“We don’t fight; we communicate really well,” Emily added. “The amount of happiness he’s brought into my life has been unreal.” Well, the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise doesn’t have the greatest track record when it comes to forging long-lasting unions, but Jef and Emily seem to be off to a good start. He’s said to be moving to Charlotte to be closer to Emily and looking forward to having her seven-year-old daughter, Ricki, in his life.
