I had an open mind when I attended an advance screening of Katy Perry’s Part of Me, but I wasn’t a fan of her vanity project in which she exploits her quickie marriage to Russell Brand. Apparently the Katy Cats didn’t care much for it either. Katy’s movie made $10.5 million over the weekend box office. The film cost $10 million to make and another $20 million was spent on promotion, allegedly.

Katy said: “I wanted to show people this parade that surrounds me, I wanted them to see the engine. I wanted people to be able to experience the tour and all the joy it brought, which is why we shot it in 3D.”

I didn’t even notice WTF was 3D in the movie either and I had my glasses on the entire time! The 3D effects were that bad, or maybe the film was just so boring?
