Penelope Scotland Disick is a ridiculous name. It’s something only a Kardashian would choose. Kris Jenner explains that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick liked the name Penelope.

“As for the middle name Scotland, it was actually Jenner’s mom who suggested it while Kourtney was pregnant and both Kourtney and Scott really liked it.”

Kourtney gave birth “very early Sunday morning” and the Kardashian clan agreed not to Tweet or blog until Kourtney had checked out of the hospital on Sunday night.

I think Scotland’s a better first name than Penelope, and I don’t even like Scotland as a first name. I just think Penelope’s a hideous, very old school name. Besides Penelope Cruz, when have you met a hot chick named Penelope? It has such an unattractive grandma ring to it.
