Scarlett Johansson is the first woman in history to be offered so much money for a single film role. Scarlett has been offered a record breaking $20 million to reprise her Black Widow character in The Avengers sequel. Angelina Jolie was offered $19 million for The Tourist.

Kristen Stewart only makes $12.5 million per movie, she made over $34.5 million over 12 months and was last year’s highest-paid actress. Looks like ScarJo may be knocking Robert Pattinson‘s girlfriend from the top spot if she signs on for the sequel. Good for ScarJo!

The Avengers is now the third-biggest global box office movie in history, bringing in more than $1.355 billion in worldwide ticket sales, more than Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
