Evelyn Lozada has never been one to mince words or shy away from controversy, and while she may not be used to taking on a victim's role, Ev is as outspoken as ever on the matter of her alleged attack at the hands of husband Chad Johnson.

"It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday," Evelyn said in a statement issued to Entertainment Tonight. "I am deeply disappointed that Chad failed to take responsibility for his actions and has made false accusations…Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well."
