Sixteen year-old Gabby Douglas has made history. The African-American cutie is the first woman of color to win a gold medal in the All-around competition at the Olympics! Wow!

People cheered "Go Gabby" at London's North Greenwich Arena as Gabby earned her medal.
Gabby's mother Natalie Hawkins said she "absolutely" feels like "all the hard work has paid off." Natalie had to send Natalie to live out of state to train.
Us Weekly reports: "Performing on the uneven bars, balance beam and on the floor exercise mat Thursday, Douglas bested Russia's Victoria Komova, who earned silver."
Gabby won a gold medal in for the first time when Team USA's female gymnasts won the team gold medal. Aly Raisman, the only other American to qualify for the all-around competition, came in fourth.
CONGRATS GURL! I love this.
