Reports hit the Intrawebs this week that Kristen Stewart had been unceremoniously axed from the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman following her affair with director Rupert Sanders. Now a source (probably from Kristen's PR machine) claims those rumors are false and the beleaguered actress fully intends to shoot a sequel to SWATH, with or without Sanders.

As we reported earlier, an awkward on-set reunion between Stewart and Sanders may be inevitable according to the terms of their contracts. However, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news today that – contracts be damned – Kristen had been dropped from the sequel and Universal plans to proceed with a sequel focusing on Chris Hemsworth's Huntsman character.
So, for the second time in as many weeks, Kristen is suffering a major public image setback and her publicists are working overtime. "There isn't a script yet," says Kristen's rep an anonymous source, adding that Stewart "hasn't been dropped" and the Hollywood Reporter story is "inaccurate."
Of course, the insider then left himself a way to back out of his claim by saying, "The studio is currently exploring options to continue with the franchise." Expect an official announcement with the words "creative differences" in the near future.
