After dating for a few weeks earlier this summer, John Mayer and Katy Perry's relationship ended exactly as everyone thought it would: John dumped Katy in brutal fashion probably right around the time she mentioned anything even remotely resembling commitment.

But like most poonhounds, John's not done tappin' it just because he's done with the relationship. According to TMZ, the Mayer player has decided to come back for seconds and amazingly, Katy's allowing it. The couple was spotted leaving an LA restaurant late last night and getting into a car together.

Yes, John and Katy reportedly split amicably and planned on remaining friends. But c'mon, what "friends" go to late night dinners together weeks after breaking up? These two are already heating up their leftovers and it's giving me serious doubts about Katy's self-esteem.
