Lady Gaga tweeted a photo of her new tattoo over the weekend, but like your Facebook friend who only posts pics of her “new outfit” when her diet has been paying off, the Gaga really wants us to focus on her body.

Yes, she captioned the shot with credit to the dude who gave her that (kinda lame) anchor tattoo on her ribcage, but we all know what she’s really trying to show off. Her stomach is flat as a board (or she’s sucking it in) and, as always, she’s covering her weakest feature (the one above her neck) with just the right combo of hair and giant sunglasses.

Don’t get me wrong – Gaga looks better than ever these days and I’d hit it like Babe Ruth on steroids, but I sometimes feel like Gaga’s fame has given her an inflated ego when it comes to her appearance. I’m beginning to think she forgot why she started distracting us with ridiculous costumes in the first place.
