Ya know, of all the celebrities I thought might come out as closet Republicans during election season, Nicki Minaj was not one I expected to go full Eastwood on us in the heat of the race.

Surprising as it may seem, according to her guest verse on a recent Lil Wayne track, Nicki is a big fan of the Stormin’ Mormon and his pro-rich folk economic policy. “I’m a Republican, voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy b*thces is f*cking up the economy,” Nicki raps in what’s hopefully a satirical take on Romney’s tax plan.

I hate the current trend of holding artists responsible for everything they say in their songs, stand-up routines, sex tapes, etc., so I won’t go in on Nicki too hard for her possible endorsement, but here’s hoping Ms. Zolanski quickly clears things up with a verse praising Obama. Possible rhymes include, “I’d like to be his baby mama.”
